Vermo did not begin at a desk. It grew directly from the daily work of a transport service. While studying, we drove passengers and schoolchildren ourselves and helped plan tours in the office.
Where we come from
We experienced both sides ourselves.
On the road and in dispatch, we saw how much responsibility transport services carry every day and how much time unclear processes consume.

As drivers, we had to pick up passengers and schoolchildren reliably, get them to their destination on time and handle paper notes, lists and last-minute changes at the same time. Every piece of information and every minute matters.

In the office, hundreds of passengers, drivers, vehicles and tours sometimes had to be coordinated. Much of it still ran through paper, phone calls or verbal updates and depended on the knowledge of individual employees.
Why is there no software that truly understands all these processes and is still easy to use?
What we do
That question became Vermo.
We studied the workflows of more transport services and found the same challenges again and again. Existing programs had often grown so complex over the years that they made daily work harder. Vermo combines the functions a modern transport service really needs with an interface that stays clear.

We combine first-hand transport experience with process design, software engineering and the ambition to make complex work easy to manage.
CEO & Founder
Leonardo Goncalves
Leonardo brings together business informatics, software development and process optimisation. During his studies, he received a scholarship from OTTO and spent around a year in a corporate environment. There he learned how professional digital processes and structures work before choosing entrepreneurship.
Through Pangea Consulting he gained extensive experience analysing, digitising and improving processes for several companies in the passenger transport and logistics sector. That knowledge now feeds directly into Vermo.
CTO & Founder
Tom Hilge
Tom is a Senior Software Consultant with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Before university, he completed a state-recognised qualification as an information technology assistant specialising in software engineering.
During that training, he already worked as a software developer for a transport service. Since then, he has combined technical depth with a direct understanding of how software has to perform in daily transport operations.
